Sub-processors

Postcone uses the third parties below to provide the Service. This page is referenced by our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and is the list we maintain for the purposes of our Data Processing Agreement.

"Customer Data" means the event data you send us about your own users. "Account data" means the information about you and your team that we hold to run your account.

The model provider

We want to be direct about the last row, because it is the one that surprises people.

To suggest what a column means and which views are worth building, we send that column's name, summary statistics, and a small number of example values to a model provider. Those example values come from your data. If a column holds email addresses, example email addresses are what gets sent.

  • We send samples, never whole tables or whole rows.
  • The provider does not train on the content of our requests, fine-tune on it, or use it to improve its models. It does not retain that content beyond short-lived operational caching of up to 24 hours, after which it is purged.
  • Nothing is sent for a workspace that has had LLM-assisted features turned off. Ask at support@postcone.com; see ยง5.4 of the Terms of Service.

Changes

We will update this page before adding a sub-processor that handles Customer Data, and will give at least 14 days' notice to customers who have asked to be notified. Write to privacy@postcone.com to be added to that list.
